Description

Stairwells are the hardest spaces in a house to light well, which is exactly what this chandelier is built for. Circular lights descend in a long vertical line, filling the empty volume above a staircase or in a loft with something to look at from every floor. The mixed gold and black finish keeps it modern rather than traditional, warm enough for a minimalist interior and striking against a white wall.

The fixture is aluminum and acrylic with LED light sources included. Warm light at 3000K gives the softer, more inviting result in a home; the remote dimming version lets you drop the brightness in the evening and raise it when you need to see the stairs clearly. It takes AC 85–260V and is operated by a standard wall switch, covering roughly 15–30 square meters.

Sizes scale with the drop: one head is about 10 cm wide hanging 120 cm, six heads about 30 cm wide hanging 200 cm, and nine heads about 40 cm wide hanging 300 cm, with 15, 20 and 25 head versions for the tallest entries. Single-head versions come in black or gold. Measure your ceiling height and the stairwell void before ordering, and have a licensed electrician handle the installation using the supplied manual.
